This is the second book I’ve read by Steve and Janet, following a conversation with Steve that piqued my interest. The book delves deeper into the world of mediumship, exploring what happens when we pass—what it’s like for our loved ones, for those who lived without a conscience, for those with faith, without faith, and for those grieving. What stands out is the evidence they present—drawn from their own interactions and those of others—with spirit guides whose sole intention is to bring good, promote peace, and nurture kindness, love, and harmony in our often dysfunctional world. For many readers, this book will offer hope, reassurance, and perhaps even a desire to explore more. Whatever leads someone to a place of inner peace is surely worth pursuing. And the generous, compassionate way Steve and Janet share this work is, in itself, an act of love for humanity. Personally, I connect with some of the ideas and remain unsure about others—but I’ll never say never. Much of what they share aligns with Christian teachings and the core messages of many religions: love, compassion, and purpose. Knowledge is power, and to dismiss work like this without thought is, I believe, short-sighted. Many might scoff, but with time and reflection, perhaps they’ll start to consider their own legacy—how they wish to be remembered, and what they hope others will say after they’re gone. I’m drawn to books that challenge my thinking and expand my perspective. This is one of them. If you’re curious about what makes us human—and what might await us as spirit—consider adding this to your collection. Who knows? It may inspire the next medium, the next Reiki healer… or even someone’s awakening as a spirit guide. Thank you, Steve and Janet for this thoughtful and reflective book. It brought me a sense of inner peace as I read it.
