I've just finished reading "Dare to Dream by the incredible Lorraine Lewis BCAh . This is a wonderful book that tells the story of how Lorraine and her partner Lee established and run their charity The Lewis Foundation UK . Ever wondered just what it takes? The joys, the tears, the learning and the hours given selflessly to support others. Well this book is a must read for anyone who has a curiosity about the sector and to get ideas about how to change lives, including your own for the better. This is the slowest I've ever read a book as I wanted to fully absorb every word. Lorraine tells the story from such an open perspective you feel like you are walking alongside her during some of these massive moments of challenge and triumph. Oh and this isn't also a trumpet blowing exercise either. This is a story that is humble, respectful and truly inspiring. When you read about Lorraine's younger days you'll realise just why she has the perseverance and never say never approach that she has. Lorraine, I'm in awe of you and Lee. I feel privileged to have read this book and would encourage everyone who seeks a role model or just to know the story of evolution of someone into becoming a citizen that we can all be proud of as a nation then please buy this.
