Crime and Thrillers
Here's what readers have to say about this book....
There's much to admire: clear prose, well-paced, believable characters, with insights into dilemmas faced by activists in South Africa in that period.
Despite The Darkness is interesting and unique. I found the story slow at times, but it's not an entirely slow narrative at all. The characters are complex and engaging. Overall, it's a good read, but I don't think I'm the right reader for it.
