An evocative and emotive novella, Dark Tunnel of Grace explores an unparalleled depth of grief and emotions when the character struggles to cope with the loss of a loved one, while being unaware that fate is working to deliver hope.
From a distance the world can’t see beyond her smile, beauty and elegance. She doesn’t give much away, and she is unaware of the power that it creates. Her reality is far from what the world sees. When she loses a person she loves, she questions fate and all those around her. She finds herself in a dark tunnel and can’t seem to find God’s grace. Sadness, anger and rage consume her mind, grief casts a shadow over her heart. But desperate to survive, and hope fading, she is unaware that destiny is working to direct her course.

Here's what readers have to say about this book....
I bought this book having read some of the excellent reviews online. Dark Tunnel of Grace by Nadia Serroukh is an extremely powerful story. This part: “Dad passed away”, hit home in a way I certainly did not expect.
This is one of the most extraordinary pieces of writing that I have ever read, the author has the gift of saying many things in a few words, so that nothing ever seems repetitive. This is a book that we have to accept in its entirety, the characters, the ideas, the lessons to be gained from living. In this way we understand what she has to say, and it moves the reader in a way that is surprising. Richard Scales. Journalist and Broadcaster.
Dark Tunnel of Grace by Nadia Serroukh in my eyes is a masterpiece. It absolutely captivated me from the start. The character is like so many of us and we champion her to find her resilience and faith. This is a story of heartache, sadness but also a strength we all search to find deep within us when we fear hope is gone. I loved it, it brought me to tears and it also made me smile. Nadia writes from the heart and we feel every pain, struggle and thread of hope that the character goes through, we are beside her every step of the way, holding her hand as if we know her. It is a book that I will re-read again and again and I'm sure will take something new from it every time. The letters at the end are a wonderful way to bring the story to a close. I would recommend reading this book to anyone, you won't be disappointed.
I opened this book just to read through the first page. I was drawn in closer and closer with every word I read. Needless to say I kept reading. This book was so powerful, it evoked emotions I thought were buried within me so deeply, they just surfaced. The author writes in a way which connected me to the character, it felt so personal, so real and so, so raw. The letters at the end were very beautiful but so hard to read without feeling an over whelming connection with her, it was difficult to read these letters and not feel like I was a part of this entire book. I hope there is a sequel to this book because this book has opened up an intense desperation to heal my own heart. Maybe if there is a part 2 it can lead me there. I'd like to thank the author for sharing such a beautiful story. It felt as though she had to place her self in a vulnerable position to be able to delivery this level of emotion through words alone. This is by far, the best book I have ever read. I would absolutely recommend.
Dark Tunnel of Grace by Nadia Serroukh is a poignant exploration of grief, capturing the raw, complex emotions that accompany loss. Through evocative prose and deeply personal reflections, Serroukh delves into the stages of mourning, revealing how pain and healing are intertwined. This powerful work serves as a reminder of resilience, portraying grace not as the absence of suffering, but as the strength to endure it. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a moving, authentic portrayal of grief and the journey towards inner peace—one that offers comfort, empathy, and hope.
