Poetry, Short Stories & Plays

Have you ever been on a train and wondered who on earth you were sitting next to? Sometimes we make assumptions due to the look of someone, but have no idea what the back story is and what the outcome to their story might be.
These stories are all set on a delayed train from Portsmouth to London. These are the stories of passengers travelling for their own reasons some good, some bad, some murderous and some pretty treacherous.
These short stories all have a little twist at the end. Included is the passenger who has just realised how loved she is after years of wondering and the passenger who thinks they are on to a good thing but are going to find out what real treachery is. But all the passengers need to get to London to get on with their lives and fulfil their destiny.
Here's what readers have to say about this book....
This book is full of twists and turns that I thoroughly enjoyed. I've read sever M C Dutton books and never been disappointed. This is no different. A masterpiece of literacy. I started reading late one evening and next thing I knew it was nearly midnight. I couldn't put it down. Even though the stories are separate, I couldn't help feel that they were all connected. Another brilliant book from a brilliant author. I would recommend this book most definitely.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for providing this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a great book to read when you only have a short time to read. Each short story is unique and often has a twist. My favourites were "Fairy Tales" and "Family Life". Very enjoyable book.
Absolutely LOVED Tales from the Train so much so got husband to also read and he agreed. Let's face it we all have a history, skeletons in the attic, a tale to tell??? Likewise we love people-watching too. Wondering about their lives. Do they live alone? Is she a crazy cat woman? Are they happy/sad? Well Tales from the Train is a compilation of short stories involving the passengers of a delayed train, some with shocking revelations, some with awful secrets, and yet some stories leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy. Thank you #netgalley for allowing me to preview this book and please ask the author for more.
