Full synopsis

Police Sergeant Stuart Berwick is a career dog handler with a fervent dislike of criminals. By contrast his police dog is a 90-pound Rottweiler with a passion for criminals (biting them that is) and a love of limited overs cricket. The two are renowned as a formidable team and work alongside a crew of handlers and dogs to ensure the town’s delinquent element most certainly do not ‘have a nice day’.

Life for the squad is anything but mundane, and between them they while away the hours chasing car thieves up trees, being CS-gassed by other cops and thoroughly ruining drugs dealers’ mornings (and bed linen). Super-sensitive hearing and a phenomenal sense of smell combine with expert training to allow Renko, Bodie, Ollie, Max and Angus to track down and search for burglars and robbers, who for some reason - maybe the 42 teeth and deafening bark - never seem pleased to make their acquaintance.

An invasion of the town by violent football thugs becomes a test of courage for the older teams, and a rite of passage for the younger dogs. Vastly outnumbered, they’re forced to make a stand, but will bravery alone prove enough?
