In the tall thin house at the top of the hill, it is an evening like any other. But when Charlotte Jackson wakes later that night to find the Baby Lara gone, stolen, apparently, by the mysterious Treasure Island Monkeys she faces a choice. Little does Charlotte realise her decision will take her on an adventure beyond her home, to the edge of the Northern Wilderness, and then on to a place she never knew existed where she will face an enemy more villainous and treacherous than she could ever have imagined.
