Sue Palmer

Sue Palmer MCSP, known as The Horse Physio, is an ACPAT and RAMP Registered Chartered Physiotherapist for horses and humans, an award-winning author and educator. Her work focuses on the connections between pain, behaviour and performance, helping horse owners notice change earlier and make informed decisions about their horse’s comfort and wellbeing.

Sue has worked in the equestrian industry for more than 25 years. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from King’s College London, an MSc in Veterinary Physiotherapy from the Royal Veterinary College and a BSc (Open) from the Open University.

Sue co-authored Harmonious Horsemanship with equine orthopaedic consultant Dr Sue Dyson. In 2025, the book was named a Winnie Winner at the EQUUS Film & Arts Fest.
