I have recently read the book “The Extraordinary Adventures of Lucretia and Willow” by Barbara Oxley. It is a wonderful children’s adventure book with a serious and modern-day undertone. The characters are charming and warmly illustrated. As Lucretia and her cat, Willow, set off on a fascinating adventure to save the planet, they are going to need some help and some very special magic. The underlying message of climate change is played out within a child friendly story. I think that children will love the book (and the illustrations) and adults will love it too.
