Here's what readers have to say about this book....
This is quite a long book for the genre (in terms of word count) and it wouldn't be my usual choice, but to be fair I thought it was really well written overall and flowed; easy to read as a result. Several themes and strands to the narrative that kept me engaged: historical, adventure, romance, fantasy and magic and of course teenage concerns throughout, due to the genre (took me back to my later teenage years). Thought it was enjoyable and much of the dialogue was really good, especially that set in the historical periods. Pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it as a result, hence the rating.
Really enjoyed this book, Druids, Witches, magic and history thrown into the mix. Interesting characters with development of powers and knowledge leading to a final showdown. Immersive read.
