This book has everything a child who loves reading could want...magic, mermaids, pirates and the ocean! The story line was gripping with imaginative and descriptive scenes throughout keeping you thoroughly entertained chapter by chapter. Would definitely recommend to anyone with children or young teens and cant wait for more stories by Sophie Peterson
As someone who really struggles to sit down and focus on reading a book, this one gripped me and made me sit still for hours to finish it in 2 sittings! It’s so beautifully written and grasping the whole way through. Was incredibly descriptive and imaginative. Even though I’m an adult, I wanted to read it to review the writing format and story and I can confidently say it was fantastic and I wish I had it growing up. Cannot wait to now pass on to the children in my family for them to enjoy too. I now can’t wait for any future books written by Sophie!
