Operation Perilous Magnetism

Well researched and an easy read. Lots of jolly adventures for this group of teenagers which brought back great memories of mountain biking expeditions in the Highlands and elsewhere with our boys when they were young.

A great book! I kept finding myself wondering about what happens next every time I put it down. It’s upbeat, fast paced, and encapsulates well the enthusiasms and (mis)adventures of youth. The plot is inventive and engaging, all while staying relevant to the Highland setting and modern geopolitical affairs. I’m eager to catch Équipe Sans Peur on their next Operation, and hope for even more drama and suspense.

A very enjoyable read. The story had me hooked and I found it hard to put the book down. As well as being a great story, the author has paid close attention to details that really bring the characters and the plot alive. Highly recommended.

I have just finished reading this wonderful book and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a modern day children's adventure story, very well told and with a lovely touch of humour, a real page turner. The perfect book for a good holiday read!

A gripping read- I thoroughly enjoyed start to finish! Interesting characters, exciting plot and captivating setting. Perfect young teen fiction, particularly if mountain biking is an interest!
