Dark clouds roll back over Meadonwood, shrouding the once charming town in a growing sense of dread. The peace its residents cherished is slipping away, replaced by a fear they hoped never to face again. After the brutal killing of a small child, panic spreads and all trust is fractured. And now, the corpses of strangers begin appearing in deserted cars, like grim calling cards.

Only one figure – a former local hero – has the authority and the courage to hunt down the monster responsible and restore sanity to the place she grew up in. But someone else may hold the key to the madness consuming the town – a broken woman hiding from her own reality.
