Cloud Mother tells the story of Kandy Earle. A mother who has died but isn’t ready to retire from motherhood. Perched among the clouds, she watches her loved ones navigate life with pride, worry, and exasperation. So, when heaven grants her ten Post-Passing Privileges (PPPs), brief openings to influence events on Earth, Kandy grabs the chance to finish what she couldn’t in life.

Her daughter Eloise is drifting between two men: one whose charm masks trouble, and Maxwell, the steady presence Kandy knows is right for her. With each PPP, Kandy nudges, whispers, and meddles in steering Eloise toward love, stability, and a future she can trust.

But Kandy’s heart has room for more than one mission. Her best friend Almira longs to be reunited with Behnaz, the daughter stolen from her by her evil ex-husband. Kandy is convinced that, with a little celestial creativity, their paths can be woven back together.
