Cloud Mother

I have just finished reading Cloud Mother. I hardly ever have the time to read a whole book let alone a couple of chapters every night but once I started, I was hooked into the story and couldn't wait for the next twists & turns. I think Zena's idea of PPPs is brilliant & I was with Kandy all the way as she went about using them wisely! Cloud Mother is a great read, full of emotion as well as fun & humour. I will say that although Zena is my sister, I don't think I'd be saying anything different if she wasn't. I am extremely proud of her as I am sure, are our mum & dad. Do read it & enjoy. Cloud Mother was a real page-turner. I enjoyed it immensely and was sad to finish it; which is always the mark of a good read. Looking forward to Zena’s next one.

Really enjoyed reading Zena’s debut novel, a story of love, loss, grief and happiness. Particularly liked the chapters written from Kandy’s perspective from ‘heaven’ and her life after death in the many different types of clouds - loved the descriptions. Fantastic summer read!

Wow!!! What a book! Zena has captured the love of a mother in a heartbeat! Reading from different perspectives, Cloud Mother takes you on Eloise’s journey from heartbreak to happiness experiencing all of the ups and downs in between whilst her cloud mother invokes her PPPs to ensure she can support her daughter even when she can’t be there in person. Loved the style of viewing the story from different perspectives…. Keeps you hooked!!!! A must read this Summer!!
