With many years working in education & the performing arts, Zena has always been inspired by the creative process. Her mixed-race heritage & love of travelling weaves together cultures, memories & emotions from which she draws inspiration to write her stories.
Cloud Mother was inspired by the loss of her own mother when she was 21 & explores connection, love & the unseen threads that bind us across time & place.
