This non-fiction book describes a new approach to personal computing, one that is based on the use of open-source software and hardware. In summary, the book is authoritative, comprehensible, detailed, educational, egalitarian, humorous, inspirational, imaginative, inclusive, interesting, organized, radical, surprising, thorough and thoughtful. I highly recommend this book. I can't wait to get a Stream Tone Access Device (S.T.A.D.) of my very own; it sounds absolutely wonderful!
