Dr. Voldis Kudliskis, Ph.D.
Dr. Voldis Kudliskis has dedicated over 30 years to teaching and supporting learners across a wide range of educational settings. Most recently, he served as the Post-16 Provision Coordinator at South Dartmoor Community College, part of the South Dartmoor Academy Trust in Devon, England.
Throughout his career, Voldis has been committed to fostering positive learning environments and encouraging personal growth in both students and colleagues. His teaching has been recognised as ‘Outstanding’ during Ofsted inspections (2009, 2014) and in several internal reviews at SDCC. He has taken on various leadership roles, developing a collaborative and flexible leadership style that reflects his deep understanding of educational contexts and the needs of learners.
For over two decades, Voldis has also pursued research into Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) within education. His academic work focuses on exploring what makes a meaningful difference in the classroom—particularly how NLP and coaching approaches can support students’ learning, development, engagement, and self-perception. He has worked to bridge academic insight with real-world impact, particularly in post-16 education. Voldis’ recent research delves into how coaching methods and broader concepts of self can enhance post-16 engagement and learning.
Voldis has received recognition at both regional and national levels, including a nomination for the Teaching Awards (2002; 2010; 2012) and being named the SSAT Adult Learner of the Year during Adult Learners’ Week in 2009. He has also been involved with the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL), contributing to coaching programmes aimed at developing future school leaders. In 2017, he was honoured to be a nominee for the NLP Awards (Education) at the NLP International Conference in London.
What continues to drive Voldis is a genuine belief in the potential of every learner, and a desire to contribute to a more inclusive and reflective educational landscape.
He welcomes thoughtful conversations and collaborations.
