Tessa Buckley

I always wanted to be a writer. I was six when I wrote and illustrated my first story, and all through my childhood I was reading voraciously, writing stories, and keeping diaries. After leaving school, I went to art school, and worked for architects and designers for some years before finally returning to writing after my children were born. I have been writing children’s fiction for a while now, whilst working my way through an Open University degree. The result has been the Eye Spy series of detective stories for middle grade readers about two teen sleuths living in a seaside town. I’m now working on my first Young Adult novel.
