This is my first and partly autobiographical novel. I am an avid follower of 1980s music, culture and history both in the UK and in Europe, and still follow football. I was born, and grew up, on the east coast in Ipswich and have lived also in the Midlands, in Birmingham, the Black Country and Leicestershire. I have travelled extensively in Europe and visited China, Japan, the United States and Russia.
I am currently reworking some short stories set in the 1970s which I wrote several years ago, and some more recent 'spin off' short stories and involving the main characters in '82-83'. One of these stories 'From Billy Jean to Beat It' is now available to download free from my website.
