I am now retired after working as a shop assistant, office clerk, warehouseman in biscuit factory and forklift driver for one of the supermarket stores. I have been a life long Leicester City supporter for my sins. I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. My wife passed away over 14 years ago and since then I have been lucky enough to find a partner in Shirley who I have been with now for 11 years. I managed to finish my book, The Broken Rune Staff in 2020, bad timing, after I retired in 2014. It has taken me a long time to commit my thoughts and words onto paper, but I am pleased with the end result. My influences in writing my book have been Tolkien, Stephen Donaldson and David Eddings all great writers.
