Robert Burden

Born in Brighton, MA and PhD at the University of East Anglia, I am a retired university lecturer in English Studies. I live in Southern Germany. I have previously published books on Conrad, Lawrence, modernism, travel writing and Englishness. My book,'Travel, Modernism and Modernity' (Routledge) was published in 2015. 'Song of the Land' is my first novel.
