Rebecca Hanson

Rebecca Hanson MA(Cantab.), MEd, FRSA owns and runs Authentic Maths, which provides primary mathematics Inset. She is also the Liberal Democrat Cumbrian County Councillor for Cockermouth North. Rebecca has published articles and reports on mathematics education, regulation policy, nuclear and healthcare issues. As a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Rebecca has previously served as a Digital Champion, focusing on the role of discussion forums in 21st Century Enlightenment. Rebecca was the Liberal Democrat Candidate in the 2017 Copeland by-election. Some of Rebecca's work is published under her previous name - Rebecca Teasdale.
