Ray Rooney

Born and bred in Merseyside, Ray Rooney has worked in the building trade and as a social worker. Ray performs locally as a singer/songwriter. His first book told of his family's emigration from Ireland. In 2019 he wrote, The Spirit of the Reels, the story of the Famous Liverpool Céilí Band.
