Pascale Cram has taught French language and culture worldwide, including in universities and the private sector. After years of volunteer counselling, she has developed a longstanding interest in women’ s struggles over adversity.

She has previously published poetry, but now her love of travel, French history and the stories of women inspired her first historical fictional novel.
