This book is a new venture being a Christian book about the church. The initial impetus came from many people who were able to return to church after the pandemic but for various reasons did not. It gradually broadened to include discussion of what is meant by the word church - what is church? It considers the reasons why people meet in the church, how people choose a church, what are the features of a dynamic church? Connecting with Church also considers the role of AI and the place of online and virtual reality church. There is a lot more too.
It is hoped that people with all sorts of backgrounds and circumstances who have felt a lack of engagement with church will be able to connect; for some this may be for the first time. This will hopefully be part of an exploration of faith and spirituality. The book should help others to find a church to which they belong, maybe arising from a change of circumstances and / or a move to a different area. Christians should also be in a stronger position to be able to explain to others why meeting together and belonging to the church is so important. Faith should thrive as we connect with church.
