Nobody could accuse me of doing things the easy way - I went from nursing to teaching, via motherhood! I would not do anything differently, though. I have been privileged enough to encounter some amazing and inspirational people along the way. I am now happily ensconced in the Spanish countryside with my partner and our cat, attempting to write stories which reflect some of the things that I have experienced, and the people I most relate to. I am a big fan of the happy ending. Real life is tough enough so fiction, I think, should entertain and uplift.
