Laurie Norman
I have been married for over 41 years (we renewed our wedding vows in 2009, on the Queen Mary 2, at Christmas time in the Caribbean)
We have two Children and three Grand Children and I have always enjoyed family life and spending time with them
In my spare time, I like reading and music and, with my wife, have travelled extensively abroad
From a career point of view, I was a practising lawyer for nearly 40 years specialising almost exclusively in Leases (both residential and commercial) and during that time I acted for Leaseholders, Landlords and Management Companies. In addition, I have also worked for and provided advice to Property Managers and Managing Agents in relation to the management of leasehold properties. All of that has given me a unique range of experience
Whilst I cannot explain why, I love working with Leases, have a real passion for them, and have been very lucky to have been able to spend my career working with something I really enjoy. That has proved to be of great assistance when writing my book.
Whilst I am the age where I could soon retire into the sunset, it has never been part of my life plan to retire and I intend to carry on doing the things I love, including working with Leases, for some years yet.
