Julian Doyle

Self taught, I worked as an illustrator for a few years, producing traced illustrations for many of the major publishing houses both in Britain and abroad. This work was mainly book jackets or illustrations for womens magazines but I also illustrated ‘The Walrus and the Carpenter’, plus other poems by Lewis Carroll for Templar publishing. These were from my imagination. After I stopped illustrating I had a variety of jobs whilst painting wildlife subjects based on sketches from life. I also paint landscapes, dogs etc. as well as some expressionist work, glass engraving and sculpture. Some of the later works can be seen on Instagram under juliandoyle66 or juliandoyleartist
