James A Lloyd is a writer of contemporary fantasy. He has had three full careers: as a soldier, a firefighter and a civil servant. Widely travelled, his love of history, mythology and legends permeates his writing, together with a subtle darkness reflecting his worry for the future of Earth's natural environment.
