Somebody Else's Nightmare marks the author's debut, bringing to life a story inspired by a long-standing ambition to write a novel. After early editorial feedback left her confidence shaken, she gradually found the determination to begin again and shape the manuscript into something stronger. Abi's emotional journey of self-discovery is closely connected to the author's own understanding of mental health, giving the story insight and sincerity, and over ten years, the writing process became both creative and personal, influenced by the author's family life and love of animals. She enjoys spending her time with close family and friends, attending yoga classes and exploring the countryside surrounding her Midlands home.
