I was born in Greece, under the shadow of Mount Olympus. As a young boy, I often gazed at its sheer majesty from my parents' penthouse balcony and daydreamed about its elusive residents. After finishing school, I moved to London, where I completed my formal education and embarked upon a teaching career. Soon afterwards, I got married, and over time, I became a father to three wonderful daughters. I retired after a service of forty years, a while after the arrival of the first of five grandchildren. It was then that my imagination revisited the mountain and discovered its secrets.
