Andréa Prior

Following a successful career in branding, marketing and communications, I have returned to what I love doing most and am fulfilling my ambition of writing and illustrating for children with the launch of two books ‘A Parcel of Pigs’ and 'A Piddle of Puppies' and with another on the way.

Passionate about art from a young age, I graduated from Leeds University with a degree in illustration and spent my formative career as a commercial illustrator before founding one of the most well-known Artists Agencies in London, working predominantly in children’s publishing which gave me great insight into the fascinating world of books. I regularly visit primary schools and as well as performing rhymes from my books, I also talk to children about where my ideas come from and how my characters come to life from sketch to final illustration.
