Sebastian is an extremely experienced actor and voice-over artist. Sebastian Abineri recently appeared in the final series of Killing Eve, playing ‘Rustem’, one of ‘The Twelve’, where he was brutally and painfully dispatched by Villanelle. This can be seen on series four episode 4 on BBC iPlayer. Other recent work includes Maurice Tempelman, Jackie Kennedy’s partner in Autopsy: The Last Hours of Jackie Kennedy, for ITV and Sir Richard Arkwright for The Arkwright Society.
Sebastian has appeared many times on film and TV; his movies include A Bridge Too Far, Porridge and Sherlock Holmes. He has played the lead in two BBC Play for Todays, Wilfred Owen and Siegfried Sassoon Out of Battle, where he played Owen opposite Simon MacCorkindale as Sassoon, also for the BBC.
He is perhaps best remembered for his role as Dick the Groom in the series Flambards for Yorkshire TV.
Just before the pandemic hit he completed a long theatre tour of Calendar Girls: The Musical – imagine his horror when all the theatres closed afterwards!
He has since been working away trying to get a new theatre built in his hometown of Southend-on-Sea and it looks like it might be happening!
Other theatre work includes Summer and Smoke by Tennessee Williams in the West End; Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire at The Library Theatre, Manchester; Captain Bluntschli in Arms and the Man for the Malvern Festival; Bill Sykes in Oliver! for Theatre Clwyd and many other roles.
He was a member of Lindsay Anderson’s Lyric Theatre Company, where he worked with Joan Plowright and Dame Helen Mirren.

Rosie Akerman is an actress and voiceover artist from London, England. She has appeared in TV shows such as 'Eastenders' and 'Call the Midwife' and films such as 'The More You Ignore Me' and 'Dirty God'. Born in Cornwall, Christine’s strong point is her versatility and the authenticity with which she inhabits every character, however diverse. Her warm, clear, neutral tone is equally ideal for romantic novels, non-fiction or biographies.
Her voiceover repertoire includes all eight of Helen Forrester’s Liverpool sagas, plus Helen’s Moneylenders Of Sharpur set in India.
