Leeds Writing Festival is back again for its second year. It is set to be a brilliant day, with a showcase of nine lectures, a short review of the delegate's book and a competition. There will be a number of best-selling authors on the speaking list, including Phillipa East (Little White Lies) and Caroline Bond (The Second Child). It was a great success in its first year, with writers feeling inspired, educated, and connected to the writing industry.
Troubador are delighted to be holding a talk, hosted by Hannah Dakin and Issy Hill. They will be taking you through all things self-publishing; what it is, how it works and the various routes available to prospective authors, whether you decide to go it alone or looking at working with a third party. You'll learn top tips and what 'not to do' when it comes to deciding what's best for you and your aims.
