Pal, who is a Border collie dog, brings his friends, Pickle and Patsy, who are piglets, to safety. He then has an adventure of his own, with Mr Dozer, who has been their badger guide, as they travel towards Harmony Haven, their new home.
Both of them are very excited, when after exploring, they find themselves in the very secret X-zone. But they don’t feel so excited when confronted by an unfriendly robot, called the Spy-Catcher. How glad they are when they are rescued by wise-one Zeno, a moonling leader, who is in charge of the X-Zone. But how will he react to finding “spies” in this very secret place? But to Pal’s delight, he makes a new friend - Hercules, a small robot, with mighty strength for a boy. He is also a runaway!
On their journey towards Harmony Haven, Pickle is very excited when he finds out underground beetles are arriving in their hundreds. They believe Pickle is their master – the Scarab King – or is he?
Having met badger ghosts - little moonling people – the friends cannot wait to meet our hero in the series. What will they think of the Alien King, Oliver Gruffle, who has Alien special powers?
