How Stonehenge and the Pyramids were (probably) built

For hundreds of years, people have wondered how both Stonehenge and the Pyramids were created. Did aliens really travel several light years to our planet to construct imperfect monuments made of natural stone?

Unconvinced by any of the available theories, Anthony Goddard decided to put his assumptions to the test by setting up a series of experiments in his garden. He came to the conclusion that both of these world-famous structures were, in fact, based on… a simple solution.

In prehistoric times Neolithic man only had limited tools. So how did they construct ancient megaliths? Anthony reverse engineered the problem to see if he could find a solution with only rope and timber. After scale model tests, he was able to set up a pair of Spanish windlasses to successfully drag a one tonne load by himself.

Based on this technique he carried out further experiments that demonstrated the principle for the construction of ancient megaliths.
