Survive and Thrive: Dating and Being Single

This book feels like a very fresh take on a must written about subject. I smiled throughout reading this book - it's good to be reminded that the things we feel as single women out in the world in the 21st Century don't just apply to us - and it's great to be reminded not just to settle because we think having someone is better than being alone. It left me remembering I could build my amazing life anyway, and if Mr Right does come along well, hell, that is just an added bonus! A must read for anyone navigating single life and a great reminder that you are awesome just a you are and you deserve someone who sees (and appreciates) that awesomeness!

Well it never bought Mr. Right but then it did reaffirm my values so I don't choose Mr Wrong!! Easy to read and reassuringly comforting. In order to love another you got to give yourself self-love first. This book helps to take a long hard look at yourself and your dreams. Lots of exercises to do as you go along which could be quiet challenging. Recommended for all women who find themselves constantly in the 'wrong' relationships. And after all is it so bad just being single?

I had the pleasure of having a pre-view of Jennifer's book, "Survive and Thrive: Dating and Being Single", and can honestly say that it has transformed the way that I view dating, and more importantly, myself. With Jennifer's honest and non-patronising guidance, I feel much more settled and confident in my single and professional life, and empowered to find what it is that I am looking for in a healthy and happy relationship. I can't recommend this book enough - a refreshing change to other self-help books on this topic!
