In 1945, George, a secret radio operator with the British Army, returns to London after serving in Europe. There he meets Edith, a civil servant, and it’s love at first sight. But they only have a few days together before George is due to leave for the Far East, forcing them to continue their romance by letter.
In present day, 1940s obsessed Florence returns to Lingbury, a Victorian Villa, with a box full of letters she’s discovered. As she starts to read, she pieces together an incredible connection, and an understanding that her strong feelings of Déjà vu are much more than that.
