I was kindly sent a copy of this book by the author, F.C. Clark in exchange for an honest review. This book is the second instalment in the Harper trilogy and boy it's just as good as the first. This book had me laughing, crying and even feeling scared at times. It's full of emotion and raw passion. The writing style makes you feel like you're right there with the characters, feeling everything they feel; love, lust, heartbreak and pain. You're taken on a journey that you'll never want to end, Kate Harper is still living every girl's dream, she has the job of her dreams and an Adonis of a man who is madly in love with her, who will stop at nothing to keep her safe. This book is full of adult themes throughout, but, it's so much more than that, it's a book of a woman's journey of discovery, and of course love! Kate and Luke's lives have so much thrown at them, will they withstand it and live happily ever after? There's only one way to find out... I would highly recommend everyone over the age of 18 (with an open mind) reads this book. Trust me, you won't want to put it down and it will leave you desperate for more. Sit back, fasten your seatbelts and get ready to be taken on a roller-coaster of emotions from start to finish.
