Historical
Mid Wales, 1795. Falsely accused of a crime, cousins Edward Bebb and Ezekiel Hughes are forced to flee their homeland, hunted like animals across the rugged mountains.
Escaping to America, they brave a perilous Atlantic crossing, hoping to build new lives in a land of opportunity. After surviving their first brutal winter in Philadelphia, they venture into the untamed wilderness of the Northwest Territory—where law is scarce, and life is cheap. Will they survive in this unforgiving frontier?
Edward transforms into a hardened mountain man, befriended by the wise Grey Owl and later adopted by the Shawnee. Together, they battle wild animals, hostile tribes, and ruthless men, forging a bond of survival in the harshest conditions. Ezekiel, on the other hand, becomes a successful landowner and pillar of the Welsh community in a fledgling settlement.
Bound by blood and friendship, the cousins find love and start families, but fate delivers tragedy. As they continue their fight against corrupt men, they must take justice into their own hands in the barren wilderness.
Amidst this struggle, America finds itself at war with Britain on its northern borders. The cousins, now seasoned frontier fighters, join the local militia, defending their new homeland in a bitter, snow-covered wasteland.
In a world where survival is the only law, their courage, loyalty, and resolve are put to the ultimate test.
