This is an extraordinary book about the journey to becoming a family through adoption. The title is very apt, the journey was long and winding but the couple persevered, successfully negotiated all the bumps along the way to, eventually, become the family they always wanted to be. Written with love, honesty and with touches of humour, I recommend this book to everyone who is on the journey towards adoption. It is also a great read for the rest of us and an education in how resilient people can be when the goal is a loving family ... and it has a happy ending! Loved it.
