'The Future, Too' is absolutely Brilliant! I have never before read a tale in verse, I would probably have thought such a thing would be beyond my understanding. I was hopeless at English Lit at school, I could never see how 'they' worked out the meaning of a poem written by someone long dead. I had no such problem with Patrick's tale because it tells a story. It drew me in from the start. There are no boring bits, as with many books that waffle on with descriptions. There are quite a few laugh out loud moments, reflective verses, and an 'I wasn't expecting that!' part. It is absolutely Brilliant! And Sarah's pictures are not only beautiful, they help us 'see' the scenes that Patrick has set. Well done to Patrick and Sarah, for creating something that, in my opinion, is an absolute Masterpiece! I hope that the next book won't be four years in the writing, I can't wait that long
