The Forensic Body Collector

Ted is a Forensic Body Collector. He is not an undertaker. Nor is he a coroner or police officer. An immortal, he seeks treasures from the mortal world to prevent his enemies from taking the treasures to a place from which Ted is eternally banned. Failure is not an option Ted contemplates - he knows the consequences.

Ted’s existence is difficult. His heritage a frustrating mystery. His mother only hinting at possible greatness ahead, but alluding to a betrayal threatening their existence. They are being hunted and face the worst retribution if found: being thrown into the Abyss, a place of eternal terror. Ted keeps his true identity and abilities hidden by pretending he struggles with reading and writing resulting in being bullied, scorned and treated as the lowest of the low.

When his dearest friend gets sent to the Abyss, Ted tries to find out why but is caught breaking rules searching for understanding. Punishment is exile to ancient Israel and being thrown into the Abyss almost guaranteed.

Yet a prophecy about Ted he has never heard is still to be fulfilled. Can he survive his exile against all the odds and return to his era and his job?
