Fantasy and Horror
As the millennium approaches, May, Alamea, Nathan, and Eli’s lives are forever changed.
May lives a secluded life in Scotland, her parents keeping deadly secrets suddenly exposed when they are brutally killed by magic-wielding assassins. She is rescued by Eli, an even more secretive young man who works for the elusive Veilchilds.
On the other side of the Atlantic, Nathan’s mother begets him a strange inheritance: a blank book and a cryptic note begging him to head to Arundel Castle and find the Veilchilds. In Mexico City, Alamea taps into her powers and accidentally burns down her place of employment. Her supposedly deceased father whisks her to England.
In Arundel, the four strangers discover that they are the Second Children, God-like beings prophesied to defeat Ahror, the Goddess of Destruction. They come from Ny’a, a parallel world where gifted individuals can wield the sacred lifeforces.
Reeling from these discoveries, they are forced to cross to Ny’a, a one-way journey, when the Veilchilds are attacked.
As they embark on their quest to defeat Ahror, they quickly discover that mastering their powers and fighting monsters are not the only problems they face. Unfortunately, no one in their home world believes their prophecy is true.
