Crime and Thrillers
The Corleone Christ is set in the U.S.A entering an era where authoritarian power, assassination, and assimilation have become weapons of its state machinery.
On International Festival of the Earth Day, 300,000 climate protestors gather at the Lincoln Memorial. Leading them is Wohali Lightfoot, a First Nation Cherokee shaman, riding a white painted stallion — a symbol of peace, resistance, and ancestral sovereignty.
Rifle shots shatter the silence.
Horse and rider fall.
Panic erupts.
FBI Agents John Green and Phoenix Shultz are thrust into a rapidly unfolding investigation that stretches from Washington DC to Oklahoma and the Smoky Mountains.
What begins as an apparent act of domestic terror soon exposes a vast conspiracy — a coordinated network of climate terrorism working to sabotage global efforts to end fossil fuel dependence.
As the investigation deepens, Green and Shultz uncover evidence that law enforcement — and the federal government itself — have been infiltrated and corrupted. With time running out and trust collapsing, they must decide whether to obey the system or resist it.
Fast-paced, provocative, and deeply researched, The Corleone Christ explores faith, power, Indigenous resistance, and political violence in a world frighteningly close to our own.
Here's what readers have to say about this book....
I have just finished reading The Corleone Christ after it was lent to me by a friend. This was a fascinating read about the struggles of Indigenous people not just in America but around the world. It has obviously been brilliantly researched and the references given are a very helpful source to learn more about many aspects of human history. The whole story is both topical and relevant in our current times. The FBI investigation into the terrorist crimes was absolutely gripping, a real page turner, it has been superbly set for a second book and then hopefully the third. I am now going to purchase my own copy as it's a 'must have' in any collection and hopefully the author G J Mann will complete this trilogy. Best book I have read for sometime and deserves a 5 star rating.
This powerful novel frames what is a deeply uncomfortable and challenging subject for many, in an exciting, tangible and gripping format. It’s an important read for anyone concerned about the massive injustices of humanity and our earth - and an important read for anyone who needs a nudge to remember these injustices. Highly recommend this book, and hope there’ll be another.
