Crime and Thrillers
Age is a curious master. Most of our life we feel young, with the world at our feet and then one day, we don’t. Horatio Tiny was certainly aware of his increasing years.
Having served as a barrister and a judge for many years, he did not regret his decision to retire and move out of London. It was 1985 and following the death of his wife, Tiny decided it was time to adopt a quieter way of life in rural Wiltshire.
Despite only being in the village for a few weeks, Tiny was already becoming frustrated with country living. He only agreed to investigate the death of a local man to comfort a friend, but the more questions he asks, the more he finds himself being dragged into a world of intrigue and deceit.
Tapping into his ‘inner circle’ of ex-criminals, Tiny’s ongoing enquiries soon raise concerns with more than just the police. Determined to see this investigation through to the end, Tiny soon discovers he is out of his depth. Has he a greater number of friends than he thought or is it more the case of staying close to your enemies?
