Before the Bomb

It’s Spring 1995. In Birmingham, Lucy Hargreaves is a single mum to four-year-old Josh. She’s also a medium, who speaks to the dead for a living.

But when her long-deceased Great Aunt Milly decides she is no longer resting in peace, it becomes clear Lucy isn’t the only one with the ability to reach beyond the veil; Josh is receiving peculiar communications that imply Milly and her family were murdered.

Milly won’t stay away, and as Josh’s behaviour becomes more disturbed, Lucy’s ex-husband threatens child psychologists and full custody.

As the mystery starts to unravel, Lucy realises she must solve a fifty-year-old murder in order to satisfy her great aunt, and save her son…
