Bookerellas
The book was so gripping, that I finished it in one day. I loved the fast paced writing, the plot was really good, and loved the characters. The story is told in two timelines, the present set in 2018, mostly following Annie and Richard's relationship, and the murder at the gym and the subsequent events, and the past investigation from a year earlier. I enjoyed reading about the investigation much more than the other timeline. The tricks Josh used to interrogate the witnesses were super interesting. I liked the ending and the reveals towards the end, but also felt Caroline's death was not really explained. I was hoping Annie would get involved in the investigation somehow, given how fixated she was on the murder, but hopefully she does in the sequel!
