Set in the near future, over a single day and in a city landscape ruled by rival gangs.
Jay is a wheelchair user with cerebral palsy, who also suffers from anxiety and depression. He tries to deny his of romantic feelings towards a colleague, but eventually has to admit to these feelings both to himself and to her. They begin to enjoy each other’s eroticism, becoming more explicit as the day passes. That day is also the last one for smoking, before the government puts drugs in the water to make people physically sick if they smoke.
How will Jay, in his wheelchair, deal with the situation with his anxiety, and will Sarah from the office offer him any solace, while he tries to avoid attention from the gangs, and being forced to have his last cigarette? Especially when Sarah takes him to a gang’s hideout after a pub dinner.
