Mankind’s folly is killing the world. Romulus Van Der Wulfe, head of the most powerful corporation in history, will not let that happen. His solution? Remove man’s free will; enslave them and make them right their wrongs.
He has the means and the know-how. What he lacks is political dominion to allow his plans to take root. Following his mantra of ‘our actions will have no limits’ he sets about dismantling the UK’s political landscape. A heinous atrocity is executed to further his aim. Hundreds are killed and the government is seriously undermined.
As he inches closer to the seat of power, Romulus has an accidental encounter with the Artisans. This order – ancient with magical abilities - are both a threat and an opportunity to Romulus. He sets out to capture them and to learn their secrets – not least of their incredible longevity.
But the Artisans are no ordinary foe. They have abilities beyond the understanding of man. The scene is set for a conflict of the ages.
